Support Dearborn Education
Your generosity helps the Dearborn Education Foundation provide classroom grants, student programs, scholarships, and innovative learning opportunities across Dearborn Public Schools.
One of the easiest and most impactful ways to give is through a recurring monthly donation. Monthly gifts provide reliable, year-round support that allows us to plan ahead and respond quickly to student and educator needs.
Whether you choose to give once or give monthly, every contribution makes a meaningful difference for Dearborn students.
Teachers
Apply for a Grant
The Dearborn Education Foundation accepts grant applications from Dearborn Public Schools teachers and administrators only.
If you are a parent, student, or volunteer within the Dearborn Public Schools district, you must work in collaboration with a teacher or school administrator, as grant applications must be submitted by school staff. While funding requests may be submitted at any time during the year, the Foundation reviews grant applications only from September through May. Applications received between May and August will be held and reviewed when the grant cycle resumes in September.
Our Events
Each year, the Dearborn Education Foundation hosts four
annual fundraising events that bring our community together in support of Dearborn students and schools.
Our Mardi Gras Celebration features authentic halal New Orleans–style cuisine, lively music and dancing, exciting raffles, and a festive atmosphere for all to enjoy.
The Green Tie Event offers a more formal evening where we proudly recognize our valued community partners and award scholarships to graduating seniors.
Our FORE Golf Outing kicks off with a delicious breakfast, followed by a round of golf with lunch at the turn, on-course games, raffles, and an awards ceremony.
Finally, our Big Shot 50/50 Raffle adds excitement with only 500 tickets sold and a chance to win a prize of up to $25,000.
